WiFi Disk

Use your iPhone or iPod touch as a disk to store, view, and share files.

Easily save files onto your iPhone using just a web browser–No Setup. With a web browser, no special software is needed, and there is no setup at all*. It works from any device with a web browser–view files on one iPhone using another iPhone; a laptop or desktop computer; and even a Wii, PSP, refrigerator, or anything with a web browser!

Simply start your web browser and copy the address as it’s shown on the main screen. Like in the picture to the right, the address will be on the yellow note at the bottom. Type in the numbers or the name & numbers it shows on your own iPhone or iPod touch. It’s that simple.

Touch the disk to access your files, then you can browse, view images and documents (.doc, .xls, .ppt, .pdf), even edit text or HTML files.

More advanced users can get more options by using an FTP client to upload and download files to your iPhone. Still no setup to do and a lot easier than shopping for auto insurance, just type in the address shown on the screen and go. With FTP, you can create/delete folders, upload batches of files, rename files, and much more.

* As the name suggests, all iPhones and computers will need to be on the same WiFi wireless network.
